I got an email from nobody@deviantart.com. Fella was warning me that my subscription is about to run out. I mean, my "premium membership". So I figured I'd write a journal.

I considered doing NaNoWriMo, solely for the reason of writing that much every day. It wouldn't be good, it wouldn't be fun, it wouldn't make sense. But it'd be 50,000 words. However I am travelling too much this month. Next year maybe I will have an idea too haha.

I've been in America for three months with my husband, but next week I fly back to the UK. I'll be back for Christmas but not sure how long for. US immigration is scary, and I don't want to outstay my welcome! Hopefully it won't be too long till all the visa stuff is sorted though.

I'm pretty much up to date on my inbox. This will immediately fail next week though, as my internet access in England will be sketchy. Right now I just have a couple of really old messages that I didn't reply to straight away and if I ever do reply I will probably be considered crazy for continuing year old conversations As for deviations, it's only really prose that's hanging around. I love the artists, that's why I watch them, but it's so hard to read a novel online! I will though, eventually...

Wish people wouldn't delete stamps, I hate looking over at my stamp box every time I write a journal and seeing thumbs I must delete... Must go.

My first journal since skins were introduced, I feel like I am too easily confused.

I have 226 deviations in my inbox. I kinda should catch up with them now, because I won't be online much in the next month or more. They are all literature, because I do keep up with other kinds of deviations. Which I...look at then delete. I'm proud of my journal reading haha. Well anyways, I promise to read everything eventually, even if it's not before September!

So...news...I am getting married tomorrow!!! And then we are staying in a posh hotel for one night o.O And then to a log cabin in the Appalachian mountains And then we are going to England, where my family will meet my husband for the first time o.O

Given that I hate white/dresses/beautification, the shocking truth: I am looking forward to wearing my dress

I had a wonderful Easter.
Rome to see one of my oldest friends, hadn't been to the Villa Borghese before and it was AMAZING. She took me to Florence for the weekend for my birthday stayed with a wonderful family in Rome. good times.
Went to America, saw that weird place Texas, got engaged.
went to Yorkshire with church people, like a family reunion all nice and luvverly
showed my mommy and sis where Shakespeare died, and the window of where I lived last year. woopedoo
did some exams (abysmal) and yeah.

I see I need to delete some now-nonexistent stamps from my shoutboard.

Secondly, anyone who wants critique on a piece of writing, or would like to practice their critiquing skills, should check out this cat tray full of critters



Thirdly, there is a very exciting project headed up by ! Any of you who consider yourselves artists (which, given that this is deviantart, should be all of you!) should head over to his latest journal which includes a very moving account of the power of art. Then think about getting involved in his ~artistoftomorrow project. Also, what you should do right now is vote for this project by following this link and vote for the Artist of Tomorrow project by clicking "promote". You'll need to provide your e-mail address, but that's all.

Whilst we're thinking about ~poshlost, I would also encourage you all to get involved in one million pages. All you have to do is, on the first day of each month visit the website and enter the number of pages you have read in the past month.
